Is Trafft legit? The short answer
Yes: Trafft is a hosted booking product with public prices, published Terms of Use and a privacy policy that names its hosting providers, made by the same company as the WordPress plugin Amelia. Its Free plan costs $0, and its first paid plan, Mini, is $9.99 a month, billed monthly, with 3 users included, as read on October 8, 2026.
Trafft says more than 50,000 businesses use its booking software, counting users of its sister product Amelia. No customer reviews or complaints were read, so none are cited. Each plan's strengths and limits are in the Trafft review.

Trafft states TLS encryption in transit and says it works in compliance with GDPR. Its privacy policy says a client under GDPR may sign a Data Protection Addendum. Hetzner, in Germany, is the infrastructure provider, with Amazon Web Services in support and Twilio, in the USA, for notifications.
Trafft's Terms say it does not give legal advice on compliance. No Trafft page read mentions HIPAA, a business associate agreement, SOC 2 or ISO 27001, and no uptime commitment appears on the pages read, so a business that cannot lose bookings during an outage should keep a paper or phone fallback.
Trafft refunds, cancellation and your data after you leave
Trafft's pricing page offers a 30-day money-back guarantee, and its home FAQ offers it after an upgrade, while its Terms of Use say fees are non-refundable and that stopping use earns no refund. No Trafft page states the guarantee's conditions; Trafft pricing sets out the conflict.
A paid plan can be canceled at any time from the Super Admin account, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current subscription term. Paid plans renew automatically unless canceled, and Trafft says no contracts are required.
After termination a client can download all its information, and the Terms say data is deleted once two months have passed.
Trafft's claims against its fine print
Trafft says it has no add-ons or hidden fees, yet SMS credits are an add-on on Free, Mini and Growth.
| What Trafft says | What its fine print says |
|---|---|
| A 30-day money-back guarantee | Fees are non-refundable, and no page states the conditions |
| No credit card needed to start | The Terms of Use let Trafft ask for a card first |
| No add-ons or hidden fees | SMS credits are an add-on on Free, Mini and Growth |
| No cut of your bookings | Your payment provider still charges its standard fees |
| Works in compliance with GDPR | A Trafft claim; an addendum is offered; no HIPAA statement |
| Prices on its pricing page | The Terms of Use say they can change at any time |
Who should pick Acuity Scheduling instead of Trafft
No Trafft page read mentions HIPAA or a business associate agreement, so a US practice that needs one should look elsewhere. Acuity Scheduling lists a signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA) on its Premium plan, which is $61 a month, billed monthly, as read on October 8, 2026. Trafft vs Acuity sets the two side by side.
Trafft fits a service business with no HIPAA need, such as a salon, studio or consultancy, that wants a booking website and a Free plan to start. Its 14-day trial of the paid features lets a buyer judge the product before paying.
